Reinformative Objekte

The topic of “re-information” in my work refers to the process of using existing materials to create something new that still communicates some information about its former condition.

Re-information is comparable to the use of sampling in music production.

While working for my diploma, I built several objects made out of discarded wood.

The material I use is always located in the same area where I decide to make an
intervention in urban space.

There is a give-and-take relationship between the material and its surroundings.

Earlier, during the theoretical component of my diploma studies, I was researching
improvised architecture. This research became a major influence on the construction
of the objects seen here.
